Candice and Johnathan got married the day before the fourth largest snowstorm in Denver history! Candice and Johnathan got married at Wedgewood Ken Caryl on March 17th, in a beautiful, snowy ceremony. The couple was lucky to get their wedding in before 26 inches of snow fell at DIA! They were also lucky because the snow that started just as their night was ending made for some beautiful photos!
Here at Bitterroot we strive to give you the easiest and most beautiful floral experience possible. So, we’ve partnered up with Wedgewood, to service all their couples! This means we know you, we know your venue and chances are we’ve done loads of weddings there already. You get a vendor who knows the best ways to use florals to highlight your space, while still keeping it unique to you and your vibe. We also think highlighting some of those weddings here on our blog makes a great way for you to see something we’ve actually done at your venue!
Like I said, Candice and Johnathan got married the day before a huge storm, which made their wedding absolutely gorgeous! Not mention, they got some stunning shots out on the Ken Caryl in the snow!
Candice and Johnathan chose shades of blush and pink, which they accented with succulents! The succulents really brought a hint of spring into this snowy wedding. For her bridal, Candice wanted something smaller and more simple, to highlight the succulents and those STUNNING sleeves on her dress. And for Johnathan, she chose a similar boutonniere with shades of pink and one succulent. I love using succulents for the groom because they are a little more masculine than a traditional flower.
After their ceremony, the couple moved inside for dinner and a dance, where we made them a lovely, lush head table arrangement. Honestly, the dinner is one of my favorite parts of a wedding, since it really gives the couple time to take in all the people that love them! That’s why I love making table arrangements for weddings- they take a meal and turn it into a romantic event.
As I mentioned above, Bitterroot Studio was created to give our Wedgewood brides all the flexibility and creativity they could ever want for their wedding! We went you to have an easy, fun and gorgeous experience! That’s why we feature couples like Candice and Johnathan on our blog. So you can check out what a real wedding done by us might look like.
