Bitterroot Studio is a full service floral design studio, specializing in creating your dream flowers for your event. Our passion is providing stunning floral arrangements for you in an effortless and efficient client experience.
From start to finish we want to make things as fun, easy and hassle-free as possible for you! We happily service Boulder, Lyons, Wheat Ridge, Denver, the Front Range and beyond!
Our crew is made up of a team of dedicated and passionate people who each bring their own unique talents and personality to everything we do. We love all things floral, and we love making dreams come true! And with more than 2,000 events under our belt, chances are if you can dream it we can do it!

Lead Designer - Wheat Ridge studio
Hey everyone, I’m Tara and I am the lead designer in our Wheat Ridge location! I’ve been in the floral industry for 5 years, and in that time I’ve worked in everything from small boutiques, to high-volume shops to wedding and event design. I truly love that every wedding is different, and each work day has something new. As if working away at your wedding doesn’t keep me busy enough, I actually work in a second shop in the Denver area, so keep your eyes peeled and you might spot me there too!
When I am not busy working with flowers, which is rare, I'm either in the mountains, on a trip, or snuggled up with a good book.

Longmont Studio Manager
Hey guys! I am Emily and I am the studio manager and lead designer for our Longmont studio. I’m originally from Iowa, and I moved to Colorado mid-pandemic in May 2020 to follow my husband to grad school! I started working in weddings and florals right out of college, and I am working on my second year in the industry. I have always loved weddings (like. A lot a lot. I can't think of the last time I went to a wedding and didn’t cry) so working in the industry just felt like a great fit for me! When I am not designing or in the shop you can usually find me hiking with my super rad dog Piper, cooking with my equally rad husband or tending to my assorted houseplants while singing Taylor Swift!

Longmont consultation Manager
Hello wedding peeps! My name is Julia and I am the consultation manager for our Longmont Studio! I can’t wait to meet you and chat about all things flowers! I grew up in Colorado and graduated from CU (sko buffs!!) and after graduation I couldn’t leave Boulder. I joined the wedding industry in 2016 and fell IN LOVE with all the wedding things. If I am not in the studio chatting all things flowers or making boutonnieres, you can find me outside hiking & climbing or cozy at home doing a puzzle watching a rom com with my snuggly kitten Piper! I am a sucker for sunshine and laughter and cannot wait to chat with you about your wedding dreams!

Naomi
Lead Designer - Longmont studio
Hi there! I’m Naomi, one of the lead designers in the Longmont Studio. I fell in love with wedding flowers ten years ago and have been working with flowers ever since. (My coworkers like to call me the “dictionary” as I know a lot of flower types.)
I enjoy the variety of weddings we do at Bitterroot Studio from the huge installations and tall centerpieces, to pops of color with a simple arch and sweet vintage vases. My fav flowers are blue love-in-the-mist and dusty pink Quicksand roses. (If you think you don’t like roses, think again – the roses we can get are incredibly beautiful!)
When I’m not designing in the studio, you can find me buried in the flower and vegetable garden or curled up enjoying historical fiction and foreign films. I also love celebrating birthdays with my very large family.
I can’t wait to design for your big day!

Just had to drop a note to send our thanks to all who worked on the flowers for my daughter's wedding, whether it was the initial design, ordering of flowers, assembly of bouquets, centerpieces, etc., or delivery/installation of said items. We were absolutely blown away by their beauty! My sister-in-law said she couldn't stop staring at them. They looked so perfect, she had to keep making sure they were real vs. silk!
I've attached a picture of her bouquet to refresh your memory. We're having it preserved and made into a framed art piece with Refinery Floral in Littleton. I'll be getting a small 6x6 frame of pressed flowers from her bouquet and will smile every time I look at it.
