We believe highlighting real weddings we’ve done is a great way to showcase what your venue is actually going to look like! And this real wedding at Lionsgate was so fun, we just have to showcase it! Lionsgate is such a cool and unique venue because they have an expansive property. There are many different locations for ceremony, reception or photos. They actually have three ceremony locations and two reception locations. My favorite parts, though, are definitely the chickens they keep on the grounds!
Sam and Lucas got married on a gorgeous winter day last January. The snow made for such gorgeous photos for their day! They got married in Lionsgate’s chandelier barn, which is such a stunning backdrop. The barn is so romantic and perfect for a winter wedding. Also, there are so many ways we can accent the place with florals! In the past we’ve covered the stairs with greens. But, for Sam and Lucas we stuck to a more traditional light scattering of petals.
Sam and Lucas were such a fun couple, and Lionsgate was the perfect venue for them! The Blue Dog mural, while not a “traditional wedding” backdrop, accented their party perfectly. Also, those of you from Denver might notice something about their color scheme… The couple chose to showcase their love of the Broncos by incorporating their team colors! Couples who cheer together, stay together right?
To continue the color scheme, Sam chose to incorporate shades of orange and blue in her bouquet. She also chose to do a beautiful, large, loose bouquet- to match her carefree personality.
Here at Bitterroot Studio, we strive to provide you with a fast, fun, and most of all, beautiful floral experience. We are proud to have worked with many local venues in the past. This means we probably know your venue- and all of the unique features, and all of the amazing ways to make it a little extra gorgeous for you! We believe featuring real weddings on our blog is the best way for you to get a real life look at what your wedding day might look like.
If you are looking for a different venue, or just a little more inspiration you can check out our blog or our Pinterest! And if you’re ready to book, or have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out! One more thing, if you don’t see any pictures from your venue- still reach out! We always love working with new couples and places, and would be so happy to discuss that with you.
And, as always, we want to wish our lovely couple a lifetime of happiness. Cheers to Sam and Lucas!
